At Daniel's Blessing

Our mission is to enrich the lives of children both locally and abroad. We believe that every child deserves to experience new things and have access to basic necessities. Our organization is committed to providing children with opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive by exposing them to new experiences and providing them with gifts on special occasions.

We are particularly focused on supporting foster children, who often face unique challenges and may lack the resources and support they need to succeed. By providing gifts at Christmas and birthdays, we aim to keep these children happy and ensure that they know they are valued and loved.

We are also dedicated to working with our local food bank to ensure that children in our community have access to the food they need to thrive. We recognize that hunger is a major barrier to success for many children, and we believe that by working together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Candy Hayes

Founder/Executive Director

Candy Hayes is the founder and Executive Director of Daniel’s Blessing, a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children locally and abroad. Candy is an entrepreneur with a passion for creating and a heart for giving. As a wife and mother, Candy understands the importance of supporting families and providing children with the resources they need to succeed.

Candy is also a published author and draws on her experiences as a parent and community leader to inspire others. She has a deep love for children and is committed to making a positive difference in their lives. Through her work with Daniel’s Blessing, Candy is dedicated to creating a world where every child has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

Everett Hayes

President

Everett Hayes is the President of Daniel’s Blessing, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children locally and abroad. Everett is a husband, father, and a 30-year retired Navy Commander, who has dedicated his life to serving his country and his community. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Hampton Roads 200 Plus Men, and a devoted member of Trinity Faith Diamond. Everett is passionate about mentoring young men and has been leading a local prayer group for over 15 years. Through his leadership with Daniel’s Blessing, Everett is committed to empowering children and families to overcome adversity and achieve their full potential. He draws on his extensive military and community experience to bring a strategic and compassionate approach to the organization’s mission. Everett is a true inspiration to those around him and is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those he serves.
